Bierzo, Spain
White Wine 2019 vintage; 50% Malvasia-50% Moscatel; from different old plots, old vines 70-90 years old; from the north part of Bierzo; clay-calcareous soils with some quartz; 550 meters altitude; 130 days of skin contact in old oak and chestnut top-open barrels and then aging during 11 months in French oak barrels; non fined, no filtered and no sulfur added.
A natural orange wine with great intensity of dried apricot and herb flavours. There is also a really unique pine aroma present. This is Diego’s take on Armageddon. If it tastes this good then bring it on! Only 613 bottles were produced.
